    If you are starting from downtown Aiken, head east on Richland Ave E toward Laurens St NE. Continue straight for about half a mile until you reach the intersection with Whiskey Rd. Turn left onto Whiskey Rd and walk for approximately 1.5 miles. You will pass several shops and restaurants along the way. After you cross the intersection with Pine Log Rd, continue walking straight. Eventually, you will see signs for Powell Pond Rd. Turn right onto Powell Pond Rd, and after about a mile, you will find the Battle of Aiken located at 1210 Powell Pond Rd.
