If you are staying nearby in Harbour Town, you can walk to the lighthouse. Follow the signs from your accommodation to Lighthouse Rd. The walk is pleasant and takes you through the scenic areas of Harbour Town. Keep in mind that it is about a 10-15 minute walk depending on your exact location.
