From downtown Beaufort, head to the nearest bus stop located at the intersection of Bay Street and Carteret Street. Board the Lowcountry Regional Transportation Authority (LRTA) bus heading towards Edisto Island. The bus will take you on a scenic route through the Lowcountry. Once you arrive at the Edisto Beach State Park stop, follow the signs to the park entrance, which is about a 5-minute walk.

Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the local shops in downtown Beaufort. From the center of town, head south on Boundary Street (US-21) for approximately 12 miles. Follow the bike lane as you ride. Once you reach Edisto Island, look for the signs directing you to Edisto Beach State Park. The entrance will be on your left after you cross the bridge into the island.

Walking Tour
For those who love walking, you can start your journey from downtown Beaufort. Head south on Bay Street until you reach the waterfront. From there, take the walking path towards the Lady's Island Bridge. Cross the bridge and continue straight onto Edisto Island Road. It's a lengthy walk of about 12 miles, so make sure to carry water and snacks. Once you reach Edisto Beach State Park, look for the main entrance.
