If you're staying in Hilton Head Island, rent a bicycle from one of the many bike rental shops. Start by heading east towards the Cross Island Parkway. Once you reach the parkway, continue south until you reach the intersection with Highway 278. Follow the signs for Savannah and take the bike path that leads towards the bridge. After crossing the bridge, continue straight until you see the signs for Floyd E. Morris Field on your left.

Use the local bus service, known as the 'Palmetto Breeze'. Start from your accommodation and catch a bus heading towards the 'Savannah' route. Make sure to tell the driver you're going to Floyd E. Morris Field. The bus will take you to the closest stop near the field. After getting off, walk a few minutes in the direction indicated by the bus driver to reach the entrance of the field.

Walking
If you are near the shoreline or Coligny Beach, you can enjoy a scenic walk. Start at Coligny Beach Park and head northwest along the beach path. Keep walking until you reach the intersection with South Forest Beach Drive. Continue straight until you reach Highway 278. Cross the highway carefully and head towards the direction of the Cross Island Parkway. Floyd E. Morris Field will be a short walk from there, located just off the main road.
