If you are starting from Coligny Beach Park, head northwest on S Forest Beach Dr. Continue until you reach the intersection with Pope Ave. Turn left onto Pope Ave and follow it for about 1 mile. Next, turn right onto Palmetto Bay Rd. Audubon Newhall Preserve will be on your left after about half a mile.

Walking
From the Hilton Head Island Welcome Center located at 1 Chamber of Commerce Dr, head southeast on Main St toward William Hilton Pkwy. Cross the highway and continue along William Hilton Pkwy until you reach the intersection with Palmetto Bay Rd. Turn left onto Palmetto Bay Rd and walk straight for about 1.5 miles. Audubon Newhall Preserve will be on your left at 55 Palmetto Bay Rd.

Take the local shuttle service, Palmetto Breeze, from the nearest stop to your location. Request a drop-off at the nearest stop to Palmetto Bay Rd. Walk along Palmetto Bay Rd towards the west for about 10-15 minutes, and you will find Audubon Newhall Preserve at 55 Palmetto Bay Rd.
