Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are located in central Myrtle Beach, start at the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk, located at 14th Ave N. Walk south along the boardwalk until you reach 2nd Ave N. Turn left and head east until you reach the intersection with Ocean Blvd. Turn left onto Ocean Blvd and continue south. After about 1 mile, Ocean Blvd will merge into Kings Hwy. Continue on Kings Hwy for about 1.5 miles. The Myrtle Beach State Park Office will be on your right at 4401 S Kings Hwy. Keep an eye out for the park entrance, which is well marked.

  • Public Transit

    From the Myrtle Beach Convention Center, walk to the nearest bus stop on 21st Ave N at Kings Hwy. Take the Coast RTA Route 15 (Myrtle Beach to Murrells Inlet) bus heading south. Stay on the bus for approximately 15-20 minutes. Get off at the stop near 4401 S Kings Hwy (the Myrtle Beach State Park). The park office is a short walk from the bus stop.

    If you have access to a bike, start at the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk. Head south on the boardwalk and then onto Ocean Blvd. Continue south for about 1.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Kings Hwy. Turn left onto Kings Hwy and bike for another mile. The Myrtle Beach State Park Office will be on your right at 4401 S Kings Hwy. There are bike racks available for you to secure your bike.
