Getting There

• Walking

  If you're at the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk, head north along the boardwalk towards the beach. Continue walking for about 0.5 miles (roughly 10-15 minutes on foot). You will pass several shops and attractions along the way. Keep an eye out for the large, colorful SkyWheel in the distance, which is located at 1110 N Ocean Blvd. When you reach the intersection of the boardwalk and N Ocean Blvd, turn left and you will find the SkyWheel right across the street.

• Bicycle Rental

  Consider renting a bicycle from one of the rental shops located along the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk. After renting your bike, ride north along the boardwalk until you reach the end. Then, head west on N Ocean Blvd. The SkyWheel is approximately 0.5 miles from the boardwalk, and this route should take around 5-10 minutes. Note that bicycle rental prices can vary, typically around $10-$15 per hour.

• Public Transportation

  You can also use the local bus service, known as the Coast RTA. If you're near a bus stop on the boardwalk, check the schedule for routes that go north on N Ocean Blvd. The closest stop to the SkyWheel is 'Ocean Blvd & 12th Ave N'. The fare is generally around $1.50 per trip. From the bus stop, it’s a short walk (about 5 minutes) to the SkyWheel, which is located at 1110 N Ocean Blvd.
