From Sandhills, head southwest on US-1 S towards SC-34 W. Continue on US-1 S for about 20 miles. Then, take a left turn onto SC-183 S, which will take you towards Mountain Rest. After about 10 miles, turn right onto Lick Log Creek Road. Follow this road for about 2 miles, and you will reach the parking area for Licklog Falls and Pigpen Falls. Note that there is no fee for parking.

Take a Greyhound or local bus service from Sandhills to the nearest town with public transport access to Mountain Rest, SC. This journey may take several hours and may require transfers. Once in Mountain Rest, you can use a taxi or rideshare service to reach Lick Log Creek Road. Ensure to confirm the availability of rideshares or taxis beforehand as they may not always be available in rural areas.
