If you are driving, start from the center of Nantahala National Forest. Head northeast on US-19 N. After approximately 10 miles, take a left onto NC-28 N. Continue on NC-28 N for about 7 miles, then turn right onto Big Creek Rd. Follow Big Creek Rd for about 2 miles until you reach the Secret Falls Trail Head parking area. The trail head is located at coordinates 35.0086292, -83.1664975. Please note that parking may not be free; check for any posted fees.
