If you are traveling by car, begin your journey by heading toward the nearest major road in Sandhills. Depending on your starting location, you may want to use SC-34 or SC-121. Follow the signs for Aiken and merge onto US-1 S. After approximately 15 miles, take the exit for SC-125 toward Beech Island. Continue on SC-125 for about 5 miles, then turn right onto Redcliffe Rd. The Redcliffe Plantation State Historic Site will be on your left after about 1 mile, at 181 Redcliffe Rd, Beech Island, SC 29842. There is free parking available on-site.

If you prefer public transportation, your best option is to reach Aiken Transit Station first. You can take a bus from various locations in Sandhills to Aiken. Once at the Aiken Transit Station, you will need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service (such as Uber or Lyft) to cover the remaining distance to Redcliffe Plantation State Historic Site, which is about 10 miles away. Expect to pay around $20-$30 for the taxi or rideshare fare, depending on traffic and exact pickup location.
