If you're traveling by car, start by getting onto SC-34 E from your location in Sandhills. Follow SC-34 E for approximately 18 miles until you reach the intersection with US-76 E. Turn left onto US-76 E and continue for about 10 miles. Then, take the exit for SC-11 N towards Walhalla. Continue on SC-11 N for about 6 miles until you reach the junction with Stumphouse Tunnel Rd. Turn right onto Stumphouse Tunnel Rd, and the tunnel will be on your right after about 1 mile. There is no entry fee, and parking is available on-site.

If you prefer public transportation, you will need to take a bus from Sandhills to the nearest major city, which is Greenville, SC. From there, you can catch a Greyhound or Megabus to Walhalla, SC. Once you arrive in Walhalla, you will need to take a taxi or rideshare service to reach Stumphouse Tunnel Rd.
