    From the center of Custer, head north on 5th Street toward Mount Rushmore Road. Continue straight for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Highway 16. Turn left onto Highway 16 and follow the signs toward Keystone. After approximately 8 miles, you will see signs for Mount Rushmore National Memorial. Follow the signs and parking will be available at the visitor center.

    From Custer, you can take the local shuttle service, which operates between Custer and Keystone. Check the schedule for the shuttle's departure times. Board the shuttle at the designated stop in Custer and enjoy the scenic ride to Keystone, which takes about 30 minutes.
