From the center of Custer, head east on Main Street. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with SD-16. Turn right to stay on SD-16 and walk for about 5 miles. You will see a sign for Rapid City on your left. Continue straight on SD-16 until you reach the exit for E St Joseph St. Turn left onto E St Joseph St and walk for about half a mile. The Museum of Geology will be located on your right at the O'Harra Building, 561 E St Joseph St, Rapid City, SD 57701.
