Getting There

• Walking

  If you are starting at the Mitchell Public Library located at 221 N Main St, head east on E 1st Ave for about 0.5 miles. You will pass several shops and cafes along the way. Continue straight until you reach S Main St. Turn left onto S Main St and walk for about 0.2 miles. At the intersection with E Hanson Ave, turn right. The Mitchell Aquatic Center will be on your left at 1201 E Hanson Ave. The walk should take approximately 15 minutes.

• Biking

  If you have access to a bike, start from the Corn Palace located at 604 N Main St. Head east on E 1st Ave for about 0.6 miles. When you reach S Main St, turn left and continue for about 0.2 miles. Turn right onto E Hanson Ave and bike for about 0.3 miles. The Mitchell Aquatic Center will be on your left at 1201 E Hanson Ave. This route is approximately 1.1 miles and should take around 10 minutes by bike.

• Public Transportation

  Currently, there are limited public transportation options in Mitchell. However, if you are near the local bus stop (which can be found near the Mitchell City Hall), you can take the local bus towards the East side of the city. Make sure to ask the driver for the closest stop to E Hanson Ave. Once you get off, walk east on E Hanson Ave for about 0.3 miles, and the Mitchell Aquatic Center will be on your left at 1201 E Hanson Ave. Be advised to check the local bus schedule for timings.
