Take SD-79 south toward Wall. From Wall, follow SD-240 to Interior. The Cliff Shelf Nature Trailhead is located along SD-240, approximately 9 miles east of Interior. Look for the trailhead parking area on your right.

Public transportation options are limited in this rural area. If you are in a larger city like Sioux Falls or Rapid City, consider taking an intercity bus to Wall. Once in Wall, you can arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to take you to Cliff Shelf Nature Trailhead.
