Car
From Palisades State Park, head west on S 482nd Ave for 1.5 miles until you reach the junction with SD-34. Turn right onto SD-34 and continue for approximately 12 miles until you reach the intersection with I-29. Merge onto I-29 North and drive for about 10 miles. Take exit 77 for 12th St toward SD-11. After exiting, turn right onto E 12th St and follow it for about 3 miles. Turn left onto S Sycamore Ave and then right onto E Rice St. Great Bear Ski Valley will be on your left at 5901 E Rice St, Sioux Falls, SD 57110. Parking is available on-site.

Public Transportation
From Palisades State Park, you will first need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare to take you to the closest bus station in Sioux Falls, as there is no direct public transportation from the park. Once in Sioux Falls, take the Sioux Falls Transit bus (Route 2) towards the Empire Mall. Get off at the stop near E Rice St. From there, it’s about a 10-minute walk to Great Bear Ski Valley located at 5901 E Rice St. Make sure to check the bus schedules in advance as they may vary throughout the week.
