From any point in West River, head east towards Sioux Falls. Use I-90 E if you're coming from the west side of the river. Take exit 399 for I-229 S towards Sioux Falls. Continue on I-229 S for about 5 miles. Take exit 6 for 12th St toward Downtown. Turn left onto 12th St, then right onto S Kiwanis Ave. The Great Plains Zoo will be on your left at 805 S Kiwanis Ave, Sioux Falls, SD 57104. Parking is available on-site and may incur a fee.
