From Busan: Customized Day Trip to Geoje Island

It was a great tour and we were able to go to a place that was far which we could not have gone without a tour guide and a vehicle. The driver was on time and was very friendly and helpful. We were surprised our guide spoke no English at all. We had hoped that we could communicate better. This was the first time for her going to these locations as well so she was using resources online to guide us. The first stop was as the bridge but we never stopped and learned nothing about it. We just drove through it. The second stop the botanical garden was beautiful and we had to take a ferry to get there. Which added to the fun! We almost missed the ferry due to being a little lost how to buy tickets, but last minute got on. We had two hours in the garden which felt short. The last stop the Windy Hill was beautiful and our guide allowed us to take our time sight seeing on our own with our own pace and we really enjoyed a short hike and some relaxation at a beautiful spot. The drive back was uneventful. Our driver was a great driver and her car very comfortable and they also agreed to drop us off at a location different than pick up which was also very helpful. Overall we were very happy to have gone on this tour.

Excellent private guide on our tour to Geoje Island

Peter Kim was an excellent guide for our trip to Geoje Island. He was on time to the hotel. He was kind and informative as we asked him all about the city and culture. He brought us to Castle on the Sand and then the POW Camp Museum and Tour. Again, he was very informative and attentive. Our tour included a couple more scenic spots, but we mentioned the Sea Temple. He said that was an excellent choice, and away we went. It was an excellent choice. Again, Peter was very informative again, and the temple is beautiful. We would recommend Peter and tour with him again when in the country.

We took a full day trip with Lecirt tour company. Our guide is Sherry. She is an awesome guide, very responsive and active. One of the places we visited was Oedo Botania Island by cruise. This is a privately owned island, well manicured with plants and trees. A great place to walk and enjoy the gardens.worth visiting.
