Car
If you are driving, head towards Yeongdo-gu in Busan. Enter '257 Jeonmang-ro, Yeongdo-gu, Busan' into your GPS. On approaching the area, look for signs directing you to Taejongdae Resort Park. There is a parking area available at the entrance, which may charge a small fee (approximately 2,000 KRW for parking). After parking, follow the signs to the Taejongdae Observation Deck, which is about a 15-minute walk uphill.
Bus
To reach Taejongdae Observation Deck by public transportation, take Bus No. 8 or Bus No. 30 from Busan Station or Nampo-dong. The bus ride will take approximately 40 minutes. Get off at the Taejongdae Resort Park stop. From there, follow the signs leading to the Observation Deck, which is about a 10-15 minute walk uphill.
Taxi
For a more direct route, you can take a taxi from anywhere in Busan Beaches. Simply tell the driver you want to go to 'Taejongdae Observation Deck' or provide the address '257 Jeonmang-ro, Yeongdo-gu, Busan'. The fare will generally be around 15,000 KRW depending on your starting location, and the drive will take approximately 20-30 minutes depending on traffic.
Walk
If you are staying nearby in Yeongdo-gu, you can enjoy a scenic walk to the Taejongdae Observation Deck. Simply head towards Jeonmang-ro and follow the signs to Taejongdae Resort Park. It’s around a 30-minute walk uphill, so wear comfortable shoes and be prepared for some elevation.
