Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, start from any beach area in Busan. Use a GPS or a navigation app and input the address: 1054 Dongsam-dong, Yeongdo-gu, Busan. This should guide you directly to Yeongdo Lighthouse. Upon arriving, you may find parking areas nearby, but be mindful of any parking fees which may vary. The drive typically takes about 20-30 minutes depending on traffic conditions.

• Public Transportation - Bus

  For those using public transportation, begin by locating the nearest bus stop. Take Bus No. 8 or No. 30 which goes towards Yeongdo. You will want to disembark at the 'Dongsam-dong' bus stop. From there, it’s a short 10-15 minute walk to the lighthouse. Follow the signs towards Yeongdo Lighthouse, and you will see the coastal path that leads you directly to the lighthouse.

• Public Transportation - Subway

  If you prefer the subway, head to the nearest station and take Line 1 (the Orange Line) to the 'Nampo' Station. From Nampo Station, transfer to Bus No. 8 or No. 30, and then follow the same instructions as above by disembarking at the 'Dongsam-dong' bus stop. The total travel time combining subway and bus should be around 40-50 minutes.
