Bus
From Chuncheon Station, head to the Chuncheon Bus Terminal, which is about a 10-minute walk. Once at the Bus Terminal, look for buses heading to 'Namsan-myeon' or specifically to 'Gangchon-ri'. Buses run frequently, approximately every 30 minutes. The ride will take around 40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Gangchon-ri bus stop, disembark the bus and follow the signs to Gugok Falls. The falls are about a 20-minute walk from the bus stop. You will need to walk along the main road, and then take a right onto a smaller path leading into the forest towards the falls.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from anywhere in Chuncheon directly to Gugok Falls. Simply tell the driver 'Gugok Falls' or show them the address: 'Gangchon-ri, Namsan-myeon, Chuncheon-si, Gangwon-do'. The taxi ride will take approximately 30 minutes, depending on traffic, and will cost around 20,000 to 30,000 KRW.
Bicycle
For those who enjoy cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Chuncheon. Head towards the Chuncheon Lake area, then follow the cycling path leading towards Namsan-myeon. The ride to Gugok Falls is approximately 12 kilometers and will take about an hour. Make sure to follow the signs to 'Gugok Falls' along the route. The last part of the journey will involve a steep incline, so be prepared for some effort.
