From Daegu city center, head to the Daegu Bus Terminal. Purchase a ticket to Hapcheon (하천) at the terminal. Buses to Hapcheon run regularly, typically every 30-60 minutes. The journey takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Hapcheon Bus Terminal, exit the terminal and look for local buses or taxis heading to Haeinsa Temple. You can take Bus 104 which goes directly to Haeinsa Temple. The bus ride will take about 30 minutes.

From Daegu, take the KTX (Korea Train Express) from Daegu Station to Jinju Station. The KTX journey takes about 50 minutes. Upon arrival at Jinju Station, exit and find the Jinju Bus Terminal nearby. From there, catch a bus heading to Hapcheon. After reaching Hapcheon Bus Terminal, take Bus 104 or a taxi to Haeinsa Temple, which is about a 30-minute ride.
