Getting There

  • Bus

    From Daegu, head to Dongdaegu Station (동대구역) via subway Line 1 (the red line) if you're not already there. Once at Dongdaegu Station, exit the station and find the bus terminal nearby. Look for the bus number 700, which travels to Gyeongju. Ensure you confirm the bus's final destination is Gyeongju. The bus ride will take approximately an hour. Get off at the Gyeongju bus terminal. From the Gyeongju bus terminal, you can take a taxi directly to Hwarang Hill, which is about a 20-minute ride. Alternatively, you can look for local buses that head towards Sannae-myeon and ask the driver to drop you off at Hwarang Hill.

    Make your way to Daegu Station (대구역) and catch a KTX (Korea Train Express) train to Gyeongju Station (경주역). The journey takes about 30 minutes. Upon arrival at Gyeongju Station, take a taxi to Hwarang Hill, which is around a 30-minute drive. If you prefer public transport, you can also take a local bus from Gyeongju Station to Sannae-myeon and then walk for about 15-20 minutes to reach Hwarang Hill.
