If you are traveling by car, start your journey in Gangneung Coastal Areas and head towards the east. Use the expressway to reach the coastal road (Route 7). Follow Route 7 until you see signs for Jeongdongjin. Once you arrive at Jeongdongjin, look for parking areas near the Jeongdongjin Railbike station, located at 17 Jeongdongyeok-gil, Gangdong-myeon, Gangneung-si, Gangwon-do.

Public Transportation - Bus
For those using public transportation, take a local bus from Gangneung Bus Terminal. Look for buses that head towards Jeongdongjin; these are typically numbered 202 or 203. The bus ride will take approximately 40 minutes. Once you arrive at Jeongdongjin Bus Stop, the Jeongdongjin Railbike station is a short 5-minute walk from the bus stop. Just follow the signs toward the coastal area.

Alternatively, you can take a train to Jeongdongjin Station from Gangneung Station. The train ride is about 30 minutes. Upon arrival at Jeongdongjin Station, you can take a taxi to the Jeongdongjin Railbike station, which is just a few minutes away. Taxi fares are generally inexpensive; expect to pay around 5,000 KRW.
