Car
If you are driving, head east on Route 7 (Yeongdong Expressway) from Gangneung. Follow the signs for Jeongdongjin Beach. After approximately 30 minutes, take the exit toward Jeongdongjin and continue straight. You will see signs leading to the beach. The exact address is 259 Jeongdongjin-ri, Gangdong-myeon, Gangneung-si, Gangwon-do. Parking is available near the beach, but be aware that there may be a small fee for parking.

Public Transportation - Bus
To reach Jeongdongjin Beach via public transport, take a local bus from Gangneung Bus Terminal. Look for bus number 202 or 203, which heads towards Jeongdongjin. The journey takes about 40-50 minutes. Once you arrive at the Jeongdongjin Bus Stop, walk approximately 10 minutes to the beach. Follow the signs or ask locals for directions if needed.

If you are coming from a nearby city, take the KTX or Mugunghwa train to Gangneung Station. Once at Gangneung Station, exit and head to the bus terminal nearby. Board a bus (number 202 or 203) heading to Jeongdongjin. The bus ride will take around 40-50 minutes. After getting off at the Jeongdongjin Bus Stop, it’s a short 10-minute walk to the beach.
