From downtown Gangneung, head east on the Donghae Expressway (Expressway 65) and take the exit towards Jeongdongjin. After exiting, continue straight until you reach Jeongdongdeungmyeong-gil. Follow the signs to Deungmyeong Beach, which is located at 21 Jeongdongdeungmyeong-gil. There is usually parking available nearby, but be aware that parking fees may apply.

To reach Deungmyeong Beach using public transportation, take the bus from Gangneung Bus Terminal. Look for a bus heading towards Jeongdongjin. The journey takes about 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at Jeongdongjin, disembark and walk towards Jeongdongdeungmyeong-gil. Look for local signs directing you to Deungmyeong Beach, which is approximately a 15-minute walk from the bus stop. Bus fares usually cost around KRW 1,200 to 1,500.
