Car
If you're traveling by car from Gangneung Coastal Areas, take Route 6 (Donghae Expressway) towards Pyeongchang. Drive for about 40 kilometers and take the exit towards Jinbu-myeon. Continue on Odaesan-ro for approximately 10 kilometers until you reach the entrance of Odaesan National Park. Be prepared for parking fees, which are approximately 2,000 KRW for regular vehicles.

Public Transportation
To reach Odaesan National Park via public transportation, start at Gangneung Bus Terminal. Take an express bus to Pyeongchang (approximately 1 hour). Once you arrive at Pyeongchang Intercity Bus Terminal, transfer to a local bus heading to Jinbu-myeon. The local bus will take you directly to the entrance of Odaesan National Park, which is about a 30-minute ride. The total cost for the bus journey should be around 6,000 KRW for the express bus and 2,000 KRW for the local bus.

For a more direct option, you can take a taxi from Gangneung to Odaesan National Park. This will be more expensive, costing around 50,000 to 70,000 KRW depending on traffic and the exact starting point. The taxi will take you directly to the entrance of the park.
