Getting There

  • Car

    If you are traveling by car, head towards Yeosu-si, Jeollanam-do. You can enter the address '446-1 Geumo-ro, Nam-myeon, Yeosu-si, Jeollanam-do' into your GPS. From Gwandong Region, take the Gwangju-Jeonnam Expressway (Expressway 1) heading south. After about 1.5 hours, take the exit towards Yeosu. Continue on National Route 17, which will lead you directly to Nam-myeon. Look for signs directing you to Dadohaehaesang National Park. There is a parking fee of approximately 2,000 KRW for regular cars.

  • Public Transportation

    To reach Dadohaehaesang National Park via public transportation, take an intercity bus from Gwandong Region to Yeosu. Buses depart frequently from major bus terminals, and the journey takes about 2 hours. Once you arrive at Yeosu Bus Terminal, transfer to a local bus (Bus 111 or 112) that heads towards Nam-myeon. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at 'Dadohaehaesang Park Entrance.' The total cost for the bus trip will be around 15,000 KRW.

    If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from Yeosu Bus Terminal directly to Dadohaehaesang National Park. This option is more expensive but convenient, costing approximately 20,000 KRW and taking around 20 minutes, depending on traffic.
