If you're traveling by car, head towards Yeosu-si in Jeollanam-do. From the center of Yeosu, take the coastal road (Route 77) south toward Jonghwa-dong. Follow the signs for Hamel Lighthouse. The lighthouse is located at 458-7 Jonghwa-dong. There is parking available near the lighthouse, which is usually free.

Public Transportation
To reach Hamel Lighthouse using public transportation, first, take a bus or train to Yeosu-si. Once in Yeosu, take the local bus number 111 or 112 from Yeosu Bus Terminal. These buses head towards Jonghwa-dong. Get off at the stop closest to the lighthouse (Jonghwa-dong). From there, it’s a short 10-minute walk to the lighthouse. Make sure to check the bus schedules as they may vary, and have some KRW coins ready for the fare.

For a more direct route, consider taking a taxi from your location in Hoseo Region to Hamel Lighthouse. The taxi fare will depend on the distance from your starting point, but it generally ranges from 10,000 KRW to 20,000 KRW.
