If you are driving, start by heading to the Gwangju city center. From there, take the Gwangju Urban Expressway (Route 1) and follow the signs toward Seo-gu. Exit at the Sangmu Intersection and continue straight on Sangmuminju-ro. After a few minutes, you will see 5·18 Memorial Park on your left at the address 61 Sangmuminju-ro, Seo-gu, Gwangju. Parking is available near the park, but be aware that fees may apply.
