If you are near Gwangju Subway Station, take Line 1 (the orange line) towards Suwan Station. Ride for about 10 stops and get off at the Dongmyeong Station. From Dongmyeong Station, take Exit 1. Once outside, walk straight for approximately 700 meters until you reach the intersection with Haseo-ro. Turn left on Haseo-ro, and the Gwangju National Museum will be on your right after about 500 meters.

Find a nearby bus stop and take Bus Number 9, 18, or 35. These buses frequently connect to various parts of Gwangju. Ride the bus until you reach the 'Gwangju National Museum' bus stop. Once you disembark, the museum will be directly across the street from the bus stop.
