Start at Gwangju's main transport hub, Gwangju Bus Terminal. From there, take Bus #118 towards '서구청' (Seo-gu Office). The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the '매곡동' (Maegok-dong) stop. After disembarking, head east on 하백로29번길 (Habaek-ro 29-gil) for about 300 meters. You will find 김용학 가옥 on your right at the address 24, Habaek-ro 29-gil, Buk-gu.

If you are in downtown Gwangju, you can walk to 김용학 가옥. Start at the Gwangju City Hall. Walk north along 무등로 (Mudeung-ro) until you reach the intersection with 하백로 (Habaek-ro). Turn right onto 하백로 and continue for about 1.5 kilometers. Then turn left onto 하백로29번길 (Habaek-ro 29-gil) and walk about 300 meters. 김용학 가옥 will be on your right at 24 하백로29번길.

Begin at Gwangju Subway Station (Line 1). Take the train towards '송정역' (Songjeong Station) and get off at the '상무지구' (Sangmu District) station. Transfer to Bus #118 at the Sangmu District bus stop. Ride the bus for about 20 minutes and alight at '매곡동' (Maegok-dong) bus stop. From there, walk east on 하백로29번길 (Habaek-ro 29-gil) for 300 meters to reach 김용학 가옥 at 24 하백로29번길.
