Getting There

    From Gwangju, head to the Gwangju Bus Terminal. You can take a local bus or taxi to get there. Once at the terminal, purchase a ticket to Damyang. The bus ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Upon arriving at Damyang Bus Terminal, exit the terminal and look for bus number 313, which will take you directly to Juknokwon (Bamboo Forest). The bus ride from Damyang Bus Terminal to Juknokwon is about 20 minutes. Get off at the 'Juknokwon' stop, and you will see the entrance to the Bamboo Forest.

  • Train and Bus

    Take a train from Gwangju-Songjeong Station to Jeongeup Station. Once you arrive at Jeongeup Station, exit the station and find the bus stop. You will need to catch a bus to Damyang. Similar to the previous option, the bus ride will take around 40 minutes. After arriving at Damyang, transfer to bus number 313 to Juknokwon (Bamboo Forest). This final bus ride will take about 20 minutes.
