Bus
From Gwangju, head to the Gwangju Bus Terminal (광주종합버스터미널) which is located at 105, Seongji-ro, Dong-gu, Gwangju. Take a bus to Suncheon (순천). The bus ride takes approximately 1 hour and buses run frequently. Once you arrive at the Suncheon Bus Terminal, exit the terminal and find bus number 111 or 111-1, which will take you directly to Songgwangsa Temple. The bus ride takes around 30 minutes. Get off at the Songgwangsa Temple stop, and you will see the temple entrance.

Train
Take the KTX (Korea Train Express) from Gwangju Songjeong Station (광주송정역) to Suncheon Station (순천역). The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Suncheon Station, exit the station and find bus number 111 or 111-1 at the bus stop outside the station. Take this bus to Songgwangsa Temple, which will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the Songgwangsa Temple stop, and you will see the entrance of the temple.

If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from your location in Gwangju directly to Songgwangsa Temple. Just tell the driver 'Songgwangsa Temple' (송광사) and they will understand.
