Getting there

Public Bus

From Suncheon Station, walk to the Suncheon City Bus Terminal, which is approximately a 10-minute walk. Once there, catch Bus No. 2 or Bus No. 3 towards Yongdang-dong. The bus ride will take about 30 minutes. Get off at the 'Yongdang-dong' stop. From there, it's a short 15-minute walk to Bonghwasan. Head east on the main road, then turn left onto the road leading up the mountain. Follow the signs to Bonghwasan.

Taxi

If you prefer a quicker option, you can take a taxi from anywhere in Suncheon. Simply tell the driver you want to go to 'Bonghwasan' (봉화산). The ride should take about 15 minutes, depending on traffic. Make sure to check that the driver understands your destination, which is located at 산50 Yongdang-dong, Suncheon-si.

Walking

If you are near the Suncheon Bay area, you can walk to Bonghwasan for an experience of the local scenery. Start from the Suncheon Bay National Garden and head south towards the main road. Follow the road signs towards Yongdang-dong. It will take approximately 45 minutes to walk there, and you will enjoy a scenic route through the city. Once you reach Yongdang-dong, look for signs leading up to Bonghwasan.
