The tomb is located at 26 Bonggil-ri, Munmudaewang-myeon, Gyeongju-si. Parking is available nearby, but be prepared for a small parking fee, typically around 1,000 KRW.

To reach the Tomb of King Munmu using public transportation, start from Gyeongju Bus Terminal. Take Bus No. 10 or 11, which will take you towards the east side of Gyeongju. Get off at the 'Munmudaewang-myeon' stop. From there, it’s about a 15-minute walk to the tomb. Follow the signs towards Bonggil-ri. Ensure you have some small change for the bus fare, which is around 1,200 KRW.

If you are staying nearby in the Gyeongju Historic Areas, you can also walk to the Tomb of King Munmu. From the centre of Gyeongju, head east towards the coast, following the signs to Bonggil-ri.
