Experience Gwangmyeong Cave

Getting There

  • Subway

    Start your journey at Incheon Station (Line 1). Take the subway towards Suwon and get off at Gwangmyeong Station. This should take about 40 minutes. From Gwangmyeong Station, exit the station and head towards the bus stop. Take bus 1 or 5 which will take you closer to Gwangmyeong Cave. The bus ride will take approximately 10-15 minutes. Get off at the Gwangmyeong Cave stop and you will see the entrance to the cave.

  • Bus

    If you are near Incheon City Hall, you can take bus 2 towards Gwangmyeong. The bus ride will take about 50 minutes. Get off at the Gwangmyeong Cave stop, which is well-signposted. From there, follow the signs leading to the entrance of Gwangmyeong Cave.

  • Taxi

    For a more direct option, you can take a taxi from anywhere in Incheon directly to Gwangmyeong Cave. Simply tell the driver 'Gwangmyeong Cave' (you can also show them the address: 142 Gahak-ro 85beon-gil, Gwangmyeong-si, Gyeonggi-do). The ride will take approximately 30 minutes depending on traffic.
