Subway
From Incheon, take the Incheon Subway Line 1 to Bupyeong Station. Transfer to Line 7 at Bupyeong Station and ride towards the direction of Jangmi-ro. Get off at the final stop, which is the last station on Line 7. From there, walk to Dongdaemun History & Culture Park Station, which is approximately a 15-minute walk. Now, transfer to Line 2 and head towards City Hall Station. After getting off at City Hall Station, switch to Line 1 and ride to Jongno 3-ga Station, which is the closest to Insa-dong. Upon exiting the station, follow the signs to Insa-dong, which is a short 5-minute walk away.
Bus
From anywhere in Incheon, find your nearest bus stop and board either bus number 1 or bus number 2 heading towards Seoul. The journey should take approximately 40 minutes. You will need to get off at the Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP) stop. From there, you can either walk or take bus number 7212 towards Insa-dong. The walk from DDP to Insa-dong takes around 20 minutes, where you will be able to enjoy the local scenery and shops along the way.
Taxi
You can easily hail a taxi from your current location in Incheon. Simply tell the driver 'Insa-dong, Jongno District' (인사동, 종로구) or show them the address on your phone. The ride will take approximately 50 minutes to 1 hour, depending on traffic. Make sure to have cash ready, as some taxis may not accept credit cards. Taxis are a convenient option if you're traveling with luggage or prefer a direct route.
Walking
If you find yourself in the vicinity of Jongno District, you can walk to Insa-dong. Start at Jongno 3-ga Station and exit the station. Head south on Jongno Street, and take a left onto Insa-dong Street. This area is known for its traditional Korean culture and art, and the walk will take around 10-15 minutes. As you walk, keep an eye out for the various shops and galleries that line the streets.
