Car
If you are driving from the main entrance of Jirisan National Park, take Route 19 (also known as the Jirisan Road) heading toward Hadong. Continue on this road for approximately 15 km, following the signs for Hadong. Once you reach Hadong-gun, look for signs directing you to 동정산장 (Dongjeong Mountain Lodge). Turn onto the road towards 동정산장 and continue for about 3 km until you arrive at 하동 계곡 (Hadong Valley). There is free parking available near the entrance.

Public Transportation
To reach 하동 계곡 using public transportation, first take a bus from the Jirisan National Park Visitor Center to Hadong. The bus service runs regularly, and the fare is approximately 2,000 KRW. Once you arrive in Hadong, transfer to a local bus that goes to 동정산장. This bus ride will take about 30 minutes and costs an additional 1,500 KRW. After reaching 동정산장, it's a short 10-minute walk to 하동 계곡, where you can follow the path leading down to the valley.
