From Pohang City Hall, walk to the nearby bus stop for the local bus that heads towards Donghae-myeon. Look for bus number 101 or 102. The bus will take approximately 40 minutes to reach the Ibam-ri bus stop, which is the closest stop to Haseondae. Once you arrive at Ibam-ri, get off the bus and walk towards the coastline. Haseondae is a short 15-minute walk from the bus stop, following the signs towards the beach.

If you prefer a more direct option, you can hail a taxi from anywhere in Pohang. Simply tell the driver 'Haseondae' or show them the address: 'Ibam-ri, Donghae-myeon, Nam-gu'. The taxi ride will take around 30 minutes, depending on traffic. This is a convenient option, especially if you are traveling with a group or have luggage.

For those who enjoy cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Pohang. Head towards the coastline and follow the bike paths that lead to Donghae-myeon. The ride will take about an hour, and you'll be able to enjoy the scenic views along the way. Once you reach Ibam-ri, park your bicycle and walk the final 15 minutes to Haseondae.
