From Suncheon Station, exit the station and find the bus stop nearby. Look for Bus 79 or Bus 83, which both head towards Waon Beach. The ride takes approximately 30 to 40 minutes. Make sure to keep an eye on the bus announcements or use a translation app to ensure you get off at the correct stop, which is usually announced as 'Waon Beach - 와온해변'. After you get off the bus, walk straight towards the beach, following the signs that will guide you to the entrance.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops near Suncheon Station. Head towards the Suncheon Bay area and follow the coastal road. The distance to Waon Beach is approximately 15 kilometers. The ride should take around 1 hour. Ensure to follow the bike lanes and watch for local traffic. Once you reach Waon Beach, there are designated bike parking areas.
Walking
If you're up for a long walk, start from the center of Suncheon. Head towards Suncheon Bay National Garden and take the path leading south towards the coast.
