Getting There

Walking
If you are already in Paldal-gu, the easiest way to reach Yeonmudae is by walking. Start from Suwon Station, which is a major transportation hub. Exit the station and head southeast on Jeongjo-ro. Walk straight for about 1.2 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Changnyong-daero. Turn left onto Changnyong-daero and continue walking for about 600 meters. You will see Yeonmudae (Dongjangdae/Eastern Command Post) on your right at 20 Changnyong-daero 103beon-gil.

Bus
From Suwon Station, you can take a local bus to get closer to Yeonmudae. Look for bus number 10, 11, or 13 at the bus stop near the station. Board the bus and pay the fare (approximately 1,200 KRW). Ride for about 10 minutes and get off at the 'Maehyang-dong' bus stop. From there, it’s a short 5-minute walk to Yeonmudae. Head southeast on Changnyong-daero 103beon-gil, and you will reach the destination.

Subway
You can also take the subway to reach Yeonmudae. Board Line 1 at Suwon Station and travel to Hwaseo Station (2 stops). Transfer to Line 2 at Hwaseo Station and head towards Sanggal Station. Get off at Sanggal Station and take Exit 1. From there, walk along Changnyong-daero for about 15 minutes, heading northwest until you reach Yeonmudae at 20 Changnyong-daero 103beon-gil.
