Subway
Start your journey by heading to Ulsan Station. From Ulsan Station, take the subway Line 1 towards Bangeojin. At the Bangeojin Station, transfer to Line 2 towards Jinhae. Travel for 5 stops and get off at Beomeosa Station. Once you arrive at Beomeosa Station, exit through Exit 5. From there, you can take a short 15-minute walk to Beomeosa Temple. Follow the signs for Beomeosa Temple, and you'll be able to enjoy the beautiful surroundings along the way.
Bus
Find the nearest bus stop in Ulsan and catch Bus 107 or Bus 109. Both buses head towards the Geumjeong-gu area. Stay on the bus for about 30 minutes, and get off at the stop named 'Beomeosa Temple.' From the bus stop, you will see signs directing you to the temple, which is just a short 5-minute walk away.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can hail a taxi from anywhere in Ulsan. Simply tell the driver 'Beomeosa Temple' or show them the address: 250 Beomeosa-ro, Geumjeong-gu, Busan. The ride will take approximately 20-30 minutes, depending on traffic. This option is especially convenient if you are traveling with a group or carrying heavy bags.
Walking
If you are already in the Geumjeong-gu area, you can walk to Beomeosa Temple. Use a map app to navigate, or follow these directions: Head north along Beomeosa-ro from the nearest landmark, such as Geumjeong Park. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer, and you will see the entrance to Beomeosa Temple on your left. The walk should take around 20 minutes.
