Bus
From Ulsan, head to the Ulsan Intercity Bus Terminal located at 36-1, Daehak-ro, Nam-gu, Ulsan. Take Bus 1200 or Bus 1201, which are direct buses to Yangsan. The journey will take approximately 40 minutes. Once you arrive at Yangsan Bus Terminal, exit the terminal and take Bus 1003 or 1004 towards Tongdosa. After about 30 minutes, get off at the Tongdosa stop. The temple will be a short walk from the bus stop. Follow the signs leading to Tongdosa.
Subway and Bus
Start at Ulsan City Hall Station on Line 1 of the Ulsan Subway. Take the subway to Yangsan Station (approximately 20 minutes). From Yangsan Station, exit the station and head to the Yangsan Bus Terminal. There, catch Bus 1003 or 1004 towards Tongdosa. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the Tongdosa stop. The temple is within walking distance from the bus stop.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from anywhere in Ulsan. Simply tell the driver to take you to Tongdosa, located at 108 Tongdosa-ro, Habuk-myeon, Yangsan-si. The ride will take around 40-50 minutes, depending on traffic. Ensure that you have the address written down in Korean or show it on your phone to the driver.
