The fortress is located at 280 Ungjin-ro, Ungjin-dong, Gongju-si, Chungcheongnam-do. There is parking available near the fortress entrance.

    From Yeongdong, head to the Yeongdong Bus Terminal. Take an express bus to Gongju. The bus ride will take about 50 minutes. Once you arrive at Gongju Bus Terminal, you can take a local bus or taxi to Gongsanseong Fortress. If you choose the bus, take route 5 or 6 which will drop you off near the fortress entrance. Bus fare is approximately 2,000 KRW.

  • Public Transportation - Train

    If you prefer traveling by train, take a train from Yeongdong Station to Gongju Station. This journey takes around 40 minutes. Once at Gongju Station, you can either take a local bus (routes 5 or 6) or a taxi directly to Gongsanseong Fortress. The taxi ride will take about 15 minutes and costs around 5,000 KRW. The bus fare is approximately 1,200 KRW.
