Getting There

  • By Car

    If you're driving from Busan, take the Gyeongbu Expressway (Route 1) towards Jinju. After about 120 km, merge onto National Route 3 towards Namhae. Continue on Route 3, then take the exit for Namhae Island via the Namhae Bridge. Follow Dongbu-daero for about 20 km until you reach 720 Dongbu-daero, where the Namhae Treasure Island Observatory & Skywalk is located. There is ample parking available near the observatory.

  • By Bus

    From Busan, head to the Nopo-dong Bus Terminal and take an express bus to Namhae. Buses run frequently throughout the day, and the journey takes approximately 2.5 hours. Once you arrive at Namhae Bus Terminal, transfer to a local bus heading towards Sangju. You will need to get off at the 'Sangju 1-ri' stop. From there, either walk 1.5 km to the observatory or take a taxi for a short ride (approximately 5 km). The local bus fare is around 1,200 KRW, and a taxi will cost about 5,000 KRW.

  • By Train and Taxi

    If you prefer to use the train, take a KTX train from Seoul or Busan to Jinju Station. From Jinju, you can take a taxi directly to the observatory, which is about 40 km away and will take about 50 minutes. The taxi fare from Jinju to the observatory is approximately 50,000 KRW. Alternatively, you can take a local bus from Jinju to Namhae and then follow the previous bus instructions.
