Getting There

• Walking

  If you are starting from the Almería Cathedral, exit the cathedral and head south on Calle de la Catedral. Continue straight until you reach Plaza de la Constitución. From there, take Calle Real, then turn left onto Calle del Mar. Follow this street until you reach the beach. Once at the beach, turn right and walk along the promenade (Paseo de Almería) until you reach the intersection with Paseo de San Luis. Turn left onto Paseo de San Luis, and continue walking for about 15 minutes until you reach the entrance to the Parque de las Familias. Once inside, follow the pathways through the park until you arrive at Estanque de Nenúfares, which is located towards the center of the park.

• Public Transport (Bus)

  From the Almería Bus Station, take Bus Line 12 towards El Alquian. Get off at the stop named 'Parque de las Familias'. Once you exit the bus, walk towards the entrance of the park and enter. Follow the pathways within the park, and you will find Estanque de Nenúfares located centrally within the park grounds.

• Bicycle Rental

  If you prefer to cycle, numerous bike rental shops are available near the Almería Cathedral. Rent a bike and head south towards the Paseo de San Luis. Cycle along the promenade until you reach Parque de las Familias. Once inside the park, park your bike and follow the signs to Estanque de Nenúfares, which is located within the park.
