If you are starting from the Almería Bus Station, exit the station and head southeast on Av. del Mediterráneo towards Ctra. de Ronda. When you reach Plaza de la Constitución, you will see the town hall. From the plaza, head southwest on Calle de las Tiendas, and after about 200 meters, Iglesia de Santiago will be on your right at C. de las Tiendas, 8.
