If you are in central Almería, you can easily walk to the Refugios de la Guerra Civil Española. Start at Plaza de las Flores, a popular square in the city center. You will see the Museo de Almería on your right. Shortly after, take a right onto Plaza Manuel Pérez García. The entrance to the Refugios de la Guerra Civil Española will be at number 1 on your left.
