Walking
If you are starting from Almería's city center (Plaza de las Flores), head east towards Calle Reyes Católicos. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Avenida del Mediterráneo. Turn right onto Avenida del Mediterráneo and walk for about 10 minutes. Continue until you reach the Plaza de la Virgen del Mar, which will be on your left. The square is a small, charming area surrounded by local shops and eateries.
Bus
From the central bus station in Almería (Estación de Autobuses), take bus line L1 or L2 towards Plaza de la Virgen del Mar. The journey takes approximately 15 minutes. Get off at the stop 'Plaza de la Virgen del Mar,' and you will find yourself right at the square. Please check the local bus schedule for exact timings.
Taxi
You can easily hail a taxi from anywhere in Almería. Simply tell the driver 'Plaza de la Virgen del Mar, por favor.' The ride from the city center should take around 5-10 minutes depending on traffic. Make sure you have some change or a card ready to pay for the taxi fare.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in Almería. From the city center, head towards Avenida del Mediterráneo. Follow the bike lanes along the avenue for approximately 2 km until you reach Plaza de la Virgen del Mar. There are bike racks available at the square for parking your rental.
